Charlotte took the lead for good in the final minute of the first quarter and withstood a couple of Red Flash comeback attempts to earn the win in the first meeting between the two teams.Â

Brooke Lacey started the scoring and gave Saint Francis its only lead of the day 59 seconds into the match.
Mahmud tied the game at 2 with 5:24 left, Delbone evened the match at 3 at 4:11 off Givens' assist, and Givens tied the game for the final time unassisted at 1:26 left in the first quarter.
Roncarati posted both of her tallies in the second quarter, unassisted at 14:25 and on an 8-meter opportunity at 8:58.
In the third quarter, Delbone twinkled the twine for the second time off a feed from
Victoria DiRenno at 13:00 before Mahmud (8:29) and
Mak Patten (0:40) registered goals in the frame.
Givens notched her second tally of the afternoon off a Lacey assist at 12:25 in the fourth quarter before Delbone notched goals off a pass from Mahmud at 8:25 and
Samantha Hewitt at 3:47 to end the scoring for the Loretto program.

Delbone, who came into the game with four goals and two assists for six points, doubled her goals total with her performance in North Carolina. It is her second multiple-goal performance and the first time she has scored more than three times in a match. Delbone and Hewitt (six goals, four assists) are tied for the freshman lead in points.
Givens registered her second multi-goal performance of the season after scoring four times against Youngstown State on February 16 while also dishing out her first assist of the season. She has 15 multi-goal games in her career.Â
Mahmud registered a season-high of two goals and an assist for a career-high of three points. It is the second time she has registered two goals in a game after scoring twice at Wagner on March 23, 2024. The sophomore has posted all three goals and three assists in 2025 in her last three matches.
Roncarati recorded her third multi-goal game of the year to lead the team. It is the 10th time she has found the twine at least twice in a game in her career.Â
DiRenno and
Chyler Espino paced the team with five draw controls apiece. Espino has moved into eighth place on the program's all-time career draw list with 89.
Olvia Baldini registered three ground balls and a caused turnover, while
Elizabeth Garcia also scooped up three ground balls.
Taylor Coughlin made 13 saves on the afternoon.
