>> Saint Francis track & field hosted the Red Flash Open and celebrated senior day at DeGol Field and the throws field on Saturday.

>> The teams combined to have five athletes win their events and achieved 22 top-3 finishes overall. They competed against Bucknell, Duquesne, Mount St. Mary's, Robert Morris (women), and the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.

FLASH MEN NUGGETS
The men's team finished with four event victories and 14 top-3 finishes.
In the sprints, Saunders placed first in the men's 100-meter dash with a time of 10.74. The senior also took second in the 4x100 relay with
Jayden Foster,
Dylan Sutton, and
Eaghan Kieff with a time of 42.03.
Kieff claimed a top-3 finish in another event as well, as he clocked in a time of 22.88 to claim third in the men's 200-meter dash.
The men's shot put saw
Clark Gulycz achieve another first place finish with a toss of 16.90m. That mark is the best across the whole Northeast Conference.
Cam Wagner joined Gulycz in the top-3 by taking third with a throw of 13.47m.
Vincent Franco (50.59m),
Trey Baney (49.14m), and
Owen Degnan (48.91m) took the top-3 spots in the men's hammer throw.Â
In men's javelin,
Dugan Chase (51.77m) and
Ethan Stroup (49.56m) were second and third in the event.
Tyler Craft collected first in the men's triple jump with a leap of 14.61m.
Dylan Andrews had a clearance of 4.15m to take second in men's pole vault.
Ayden Martinage and
Aaron Tressler placed second in each of their events. Martinage recorded a jump of 1.90m in the men's high jump, and Tressler crossed the finish line with a time of 10:14.9 in the men's 3000-meter steeplechase.
FLASH WOMEN NUGGETS
The women's team had three event victories and eight top-3 placements.
Olivia Renk won the 100-meter dash (12.49) and the 200-meter dash (25.00). It is the second time this season that the freshman has taken home victories in both events at one meet after doing it at the Jim Taylor Duals on March 29.
Renk was also a part of the 4x100 relay team of
Paige Drake,
Brooke Long, and
Gabriella del Pielago that placed third with a time of 48.55.
Carly Sedun (46.21m) and
Rylee Nicklas (41.46m) finished first and third in the women's hammer throw, respectively. Sedun also took third in discus with a toss of 37.77m.
Helms (4:44.63) and
Nina Connors (4:46.66) claimed second and third in the women's 1500-meter run.
Rounding out the top performers for the women was Wehner, who finished third in women's javelin with a throw of 35.14m.
