>> Saint Francis men's track & field finished eighth out of 32 teams with 36 points while the women took ninth out of 29 teams with 28 points at the Colonial Relays hosted by the College of William & Mary from April 3-5.

Carly Sedun became a Colonial Relays champion in the women's hammer throw with a mark of 49.79m to collect 10 points for the women. The senior has claimed first in the event in back-to-back weeks and has finished in the top-3 during all three outdoor meets so far.

FLASH MEN NUGGETS
The men's team picked up 10 top-8 finishes over the three-day period.
Julian Saunders collected three top-8 finishes for the second week in a row. The senior started it off by taking second in the men's 100-meter dash with a time of 10.46. He followed it up with a sixth place finish in the 200-meter dash by clocking in a time of 21.50. Finally, as a part of the 4x200 relay team with
Peyton Myers,
Eaghan Kieff and
Dylan Sutton, they finished second with a time of 1:28.47.
In total, Saunders was a part of the 19 points racked up by the men.
Clark Gulycz placed third in the men's shot put with a toss of 16.43m to achieve six points. The mark by the freshman is the best score totaled across the NEC in the event so far this outdoor season.
The men's javelin throw saw
Ethan Stroup (5th: 51.55m) and
Dugan Chase (8th: 48.11m) collect six total points for finishing top-8 in the event.
In the men's 110-meter hurdles,
Haiden Litwinovich finished seventh with a time of 15.03 to claim two points.
Cam Wagner took home two points in the men's discus throw with a toss of 44.92m.
Owen Degnan took eighth in the men's hammer throw with a mark of 48.63m to grab one point.
The distance medley relay team of
James Parmelee,
Thomas Presnar,
Collin Dreese, and
Michelangelo Piccirillo rounded out the top-8 finishes by taking eighth with a time of 10:39.99.
FLASH WOMEN NUGGETS
Along with Sedun's first place finish, the women's team accumulated seven top-8 finishes.
The women's relay teams took home three top-8 finishes.
Naomi Hillen,
Morgan McNaughton,
Tesslyn Helms, and
Nina Connors placed fourth in the 4x1500 relay by clocking in a time of 19:20.98 to collect five points. The women's distance medley relay team of
Anna Quackenbush,
Gabriella del Pielago,
Rosemary Gaydos, and
Mackenzie Hirt racked up four points by taking fifth with a time of 12:35.27. Rounding out the three performances was the 4x100 relay team of del Pielago,
Olivia Renk,
Brooke Long, and
Paige Drake coming in eighth with a time of 49.00 to register one point.
Long registered a sixth place finish in the women's triple jump with a personal-best leap of 11.62m to pick up three points.
Renk also collected three points by placing sixth in the women's 200-meter dash with a time of 24.63.
Rylee Nicklas took seventh and claimed two points in the women's shot put with a toss of 11.98m.
