>> Saint Francis women's track & field finished fourth at the Northeast Conference (NEC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Stonehill College with 121 points. The men took fifth with 91 points.

Julian Saunders picked up two gold medals in the the men's 100-meter and 200-meter dash with times of 10.50 and 21.00, respectively. The senior's time in the 200-meter dash is a new school record, surpassing the previous best mark of 21.12 by current assistant coach Christopher Frederick on April 13, 2019. The Gilbertsville, Pa. native collected 24 points overall for the men's squad.

Carly Sedun secured her second-straight conference title in the women's hammer throw with a mark of 50.21m. The senior finished with a toss of 52.21m at the 2024 championships. She also took fifth in the women's discus with a throw of 39.29m and notched an eighth place mark of 11.21m in shot put.

Clark Gulycz is now the NEC men's shot put champion in indoor and outdoor track & field after finishing with a throw of 17.16m. The freshman posted a 16.75m mark at the indoor championships.

FLASH WOMEN NUGGETS
Two women helped the team collect 13 points from the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Rosemary Gaydos placed second in the women's 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:18.43. Nina Connors followed two spots behind in fourth with her time of 11:39.64.
Connors was also a part of the fourth place 4x800 relay team that consisted of herself,
Morgan McNaughton,
Mackenzie Hirt, and
Emma Fleck. The four clocked in a time of 9:22.50. The 4x400 relay squad of Fleck, Hirt,
Gabriella del Pielago, and
Olivia Renk placed fifth with a time of 4:02.29.
Josilyn Wehner took second in women's javelin with a toss of 37.90m.
Rylee Nicklas followed behind in fourth with her mark of 35.10m.
Claire Henry made her outdoor championship debut this weekend and claimed silver in the women's pole vault with a personal-best clearance of 3.45m.
Aubrie Wells (3.10m) and
Emily Foley (3.10m) finished in the top-8 in seventh and eighth.
Brooke Long finished third in the women's triple jump with a career-best mark of 11.93m. The junior also posted a fifth place finish in long jump with a leap of 5.50m to give herself 10 points individually. She was on the 4x100 relay team with Renk,
Paige Drake, and del Pielago that claimed fifth with a time of 48.13.
In the women's 10,000-meter run,
Anna Quackenbush grabbed bronze with a time of 37:47.19. The sophomore accumulated three points for her sixth place finish in the 5,000-meter run as well, clocking in a time of 18:04.20. She finished the weekend with nine points.
Saige Wilt collected bronze in the women's high jump with a mark of 1.60m.
Renk was another freshman that made her mark by finishing fourth in the women's 100-meter dash (12.05) and 200-meter dash (24.74). She was also on the 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams that each placed fifth. Overall, the Bridgeville, Pa. native notched 18 points.
McNaughton (4:39.50) and
Tesslyn Helms (4:40.01) finished fifth and sixth in the women's 1500-meter run.
Ryan Wilson (45:00.87) and
Ava Dzurenda (47:39.79) were also in the top-8 of the 10,000-meter run, placing sixth and eighth.
Drake finished two spots behind Long in the long jump in seventh with a leap of 5.40m.
FLASH MEN NUGGETS
Saunders claimed his extra four points as a part of the sixth place 4x100 relay team with
Dylan Sutton,
Eaghan Kieff, and
Jayden Foster. They finished with a time of 41.75. The eighth place 4x400 relay squad of Saunders,
Peyton Myers,
Tyler Persing, and
James Parmelee clocked in a time of 3:28.34.
Tyler Craft nabbed bronze in the men's triple jump with a leap of 14.29m. The freshman jumper also took fourth in the long jump with a mark of 6.98m to pick up 11 points for the men. For his performances, he was named NEC Men's Co-Most Outstanding Field Performer in the jumps.
Foster joined Craft in the top-8 of the long jump, finishing seventh with a jump of 6.90m.
Ayden Martinage recorded a mark of 1.93m in the men's high jump to take fourth.
Dylan Andrews finished fourth in the men's pole vault with a clearance of 4.35m.
Ethan Stroup (53.10m) and
Dugan Chase (52.80m) claimed fourth and fifth in the men's javelin, respectively.
In the men's discus,
Cam Wagner kept up the fourth place finishes by finishing with a mark of 45.29m.
Joseph Sevison followed behind in sixth with a throw of 43.41m.
Owen Degnan (50.07m),
Vincent Franco (49.75m), and
Joseph Sevison (48.01m) took the fifth, sixth, and eighth place spots in the men's hammer throw.
The 4x800 relay team of
John Flynn Jr.,
James Parmelee,
Michelangelo Piccirillo, and
Thomas Presnar placed fifth with a tume of 7:55.88.
Aaron Tressler finished sixth in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase by clocking in a time of 9:59.14.
Trey Baney had a seventh place finish in shot put with a throw of 15.09m.
