LORETTO, Pa. – The Saint Francis University women's lacrosse team has been named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Squad. The team has been named to the Honor Squad for the 10 straight year and 15th in the last 17 years.
In addition, Olivia Baldini (Hamilton, Ontario/Sherwood Secondary), Victoria DiRenno (Suffern, N.Y./Suffern), Chyler Espino (San Francisco, Calif./Saint Ignatius College Preparatory), Jullia Givens (Elverson, Pa./Twin Valley), Brooke Lacey (Bethel, Conn./Bethel), Makayla Murray (Bow, N.H./Bow), Mak Patten (Welland, Ontario/Cushing Academy) and Colleen Roche (Orlando, Fla./Bishop Moore Catholic) are members of the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll. Baldini, DiRenno, Espino, Murray and Roche were named to the team for the second time. A student-athlete must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or greater to be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll.
A team must have a grade-point average of 3.20 or greater to be placed on the Academic Honor Squad.Â
