HIGH SCHOOL: Freshman middle distance runner from Canon McMillan that was part of two Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) championships… earned varsity letters in cross country, indoor & outdoor track & field, and basketball… Pittsburgh Tribune-Review Athlete of the Week honoree… Washington Observer-Reporter Athlete of the Week honoree… Almanac Track Athlete of the Year… Boys’ MVP at the Washington County Track & Field Championships… high honor roll… member of German Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Intends to major in education… younger brother of former Red Flash athlete Taryn Gibson ’07 and current track & field athlete Kyle Gibson, as well as Saint Francis alumnus Jonathan Gibson ’09… mother Diane Gibson earned M. Ed. in 2007… son of Diane and Jeff Gibson.
