Biography

SOPHOMORE (09-10): Armstead was a member of the outdoor 4x100 Relay team that ran a 42.55 at the Colonial Relays (4/3/10), recording the best performance of the year in this event... Set a new PR in the 60m with a time of 7.18 at the PSU Relays (1/9/10), which was the second best performance of the year in this event.

FRESHMAN (08-09): Armstead was a member of the 4x100 relay team that finished fourth in 42.63 seconds at the 2009 NEC Outdoor Championships… personal bests for the season include 6.71 seconds in the 55m dash, 7.12 seconds in 60m dash and 23.55 seconds in the 200m dash, all during the indoor season.

PERSONAL: Also a member of the Red Flash football team… coached by Angel Doyle in high school.
