Biography

REDSHIRT SENIOR (2015) – Appeared in three games this season, seeing time on defense and special teams.  Totaled five tackles this year.  Had one solo stop in the season-opening win vs. Georgetown.  Recorded four tackles, including two solo, at Youngstown State.

REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2014) – Played in seven games for SFU … Recorded 18 tackles and assisted on 11.

SOPHOMORE (2013) - Appeared in nine games during the 2013 season … Finished with 38 tackles, 17 solo and 21 assisted … Recorded one sack and two interceptions for the season … Posted a career-high 14 tackles versus Wagner (11/16) … Registered two interceptions against Bryant (11/9).  

FRESHMAN (2012) - Did not see any varsity action during freshman season.

BEFORE SFU- Played at Clairton High School for head coach Tom Nola… Helped the Bears to a 16-0 record and a PIAA A Championship his senior year in 2010… As a junior helped the Bears to a 15-1 mark and a state title… The Bears reached the state championship game when Small was a sophomore.
