SOPHOMORE (2018) – NEC All-Tournament Team… Appeared in 53 games, including 52 starts at catcher… Batted .248 with 31 hits, including nine doubles, a triple and four homers.  Drove in 28 runs and scored 14, while posting a slugging percentage of .432 and an on-base percentage of .317… Went 3-for-3, including a double and an RBI single, against Maine (3/3)… Hit a two-run homer against Omaha (3/3)… Hit an RBI single at Arkansas (3/16)… Crushed a three-run homer against Mount St. Mary’s (3/31)… At Marshall (4/3), went 2-for-4, including a two-run single, in game one and hit an RBI double in game two… Had a two-run double at Maryland (4/11)… Drove in two runs on a double at LIU Brooklyn (4/15)… Went 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI at Penn State (4/18)… Hit two sac flies at Robert Morris (5/2), including a go-ahead RBI in the eighth in game two… Against Fairleigh Dickinson (5/7), hit a solo homer in game one and hit a two-run single in game two… Hit a game-tying two-run homer against LIU Brooklyn (5/10) in the NEC Tournament… Had a clutch two-run double in the fifth inning against Sacred Heart (5/11) to send SFU to the NEC Championship game… Hit a two-run triple against Mississippi State (5/19) in the NCAA Regional.

FRESHMAN (2017) – Appeared in 31 games, including 21 starts, with seven starts at catcher and 14 as designated player… Batted .265 with 18 hits, including two doubles, a triple and a homer, seven RBI and four runs. Drew five walks and stole a base… In NEC play, hit .419 with 13 hits, including two doubles, a triple, a homer, seven RBI and two runs… Threw out two steal attempts as a catcher… Had three multi-hit and three multi-RBI games… First college hit was a single against Cleveland State (2/18)… Had a single and scored a run in games against NC Central (3/10) and Rhode Island (3/11), while adding a steal against the Rams… Went 3-for-3 with a two-run homer and two runs at Fairleigh Dickinson (4/3)… Collected three hits and drove in two runs on a go-ahead single against LIU Brooklyn (4/10)… Went 2-for-3 with an RBI single and an RBI double against Robert Morris (4/14)… Hit a triple and drove in a run at Mount St. Mary’s (4/15)… Hit a double against Sacred Heart (4/29).
 
BEFORE SFU – Hoover was a four-year letterwinner at Northmont for head coach Kris Mangen… She was a Second Team All-Ohio, First Team All-Conference, First Team All-District and First Team All-League selection in 2016. She batted .429 with three homers and a .619 slugging percentage… Hoover earned First Team All-Metro honors as a junior after posting a .427 average, including nine doubles, a triple, a home run and 31 RBI. He tallied an on-base percentage of .448, helping her earn All-GWOC accolades… Hoover has helped Northmont to two conference titles, three sectional titles and three district titles.
 
PERSONAL – The daughter of Ben and Patti Hoover, Taylor plans to major in Chemistry at Saint Francis.
