Placed third at the NEC Championships in the 3,00-meter steeplechase with time of 11:18.46 … Set career-bests in the 3,000m steeplechase (11:06.16), 5,000-meter run (20:00.26) and 1,500-meter run (4:44.57) … Placed 22nd at the NEC Championship meet in the 5,000m run with a time of 20:00.26.
2010-11 (Indoor)
Focused mainly on the mile during the indoor season and posted a season-best time of 5:17.74 at the NEC Championships … Her time was fourth best in her heat in the prelims and in the finals she took 10th overall.
2010 (Outdoor)
Won her first individual NEC championship in 2010, taking home the gold in the 3000m Steeplechase with a time of PR-tying 11:20.50 at the NEC Outdoor Championships (5/2/10)... set a PR in the outdoor 1500m with a time of 4:48.97 at the Raleigh Relays (3/27/10)…ran a PR 20:57.86 in the outdoor 5000m at the NEC Outdoor Championships (5/2/10)…set a PR in the outdoor 2000m Steeplechase at the Father Bede Invite (4/24/10) with a time of 7:30.40…
2009-10 (Indoor)
Ran a 5:10.01 in the Mile at the NEC Indoor Championships, finishing fifth and establishing a new PR (2/21/10)… member of the Distance Medley Relay team that took eighth at the NEC Indoor Championships with a time of 13:02.14.
2009 (Outdoor)
Captured fifth in the 3k steeplechase (11:31.42) at the 2009 NEC Outdoor Championships, and was a member of the 4x800m relay team that finished fifth in 9:50.22
2008-09 (Indoor)
Placed 10th in the Mile Run at the 2009 NEC Indoor Championships with a time of 5:27.01.
PERSONAL: Served on SFU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee for the second straight year in 2009-10… fall 2008 and spring 2009 SFU Academic Honor Roll student… Elementary/Special Education major...coached by Jeff Gibson and Mark Galley in high school... daughter of Jeffrey Grossi and Selina & John Yarosh.
