Biography

JUNIOR (09-10): Set a PR of 9:20.83 in the outdoor 3000m at the Eric Kloiber Invitational (4/17/10)... Finished 26th in the 5K at the Mount St. Mary's 5K Duals with a time of 16:32 (9/4/09)...placed 27th out of 108 (26:49) at the Buffalo Stampede (9/19/09)...finished 58th out of 332 (26:11) at the Paul Short Invitational (10/2/09).

SOPHOMORE (08-09): Brown sat out much of his freshman season with an injury, but bounced back to place 25th in the 5k (16:41.52) at the 2009 NEC Indoor Championships.

PERSONAL: Served on SFU Student-Athlete Mentors (SAMS) in 2008-09… Fall 2007, 2008, 2009, and Spring 2008, 2009, 2010 SFU Academic Honor Roll student… History major...coached by Denise Carpinello in high school...son of Sandra and Tim Brown.
