LORETTO, Pa. (March 11, 2012)
– The nation's goals-per-game leader, Danielle Conwell (Roxbury, N.J./Roxbury), tacked on a pair of scores to her team-leading tally but it wasn't enough to hold off visiting Saint Joseph's (Pa.), as the Hawks downed Saint Francis U., 12-3, on Sunday.

The junior attack scored both of SFU's first half goals, including a quick strike that came 94 seconds into the contest.  The second – a twirling shot of the highlight reel variety – evened the score at 2-2 at the 12:24 mark.

After going neck-and-neck for the opening 20 minutes of play, the Hawks scored three goals in the 5:20 second before the intermission to pull away.

Saint Joseph's (3-3) fired the final four lamp-lighters of the first half to take a, 6-2, lead and scored the first five goals of the second period to build an, 11-2, advantage.

Kate Simmons (Delran, N.J./Delran) registered the only Flash score of the second stanza with 11:36 to play.

The Hawks' Abby Ananian set the final score with her third goal of the day at the 7:49 mark.  Grace Dinn, like her teammate Ananian, also recorded a hat trick.

Saint Joseph's held a 38-to-17 edge in shots, 28 Hawks' shots were on goal.

Saint Francis (1-3) returns to action on Tuesday when it welcomes Bucknell for a 6 p.m. contest.
