NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (Sept. 29, 2014) – Saint Francis University field hockey junior midfielder Selena Adamshick (Harveys Lake, Pa./Lake-Lehman) picked up Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Week honors, it was announced on Monday.
 
A native of Harvey's Lake, Pa., Adamshick helped lead Saint Francis to a 2-0 weekend and remain undefeated on the season. SFU is the only unbeaten team remaining in the nation.
 
Against Saint Louis on Friday, Adamshick scored a goal and dished out assists on two other goals, totaling her points to four for the contest. Saint Francis moved to 7-0 and 2-0 in the Atlantic 10 with the victory as it won 6-0.
 
On Saturday against Missouri State, Saint Francis was locked in a defensive battle and Adamshick scored the lone goal of the game nearing the end of the opening period.
 
SFU will travel to Massachusetts for a 1 p.m. match-up on Sunday.
