BROOKLYN, N.Y.- The second-seeded Saint Francis Red Flash are in Brooklyn for the Northeast Conference tournament as they take on the three-seeded Robert Morris Colonials at noon on Friday at host school LIU Brooklyn.

LAST TIME OUTThis will be a re-match of the season finale for both teams. Last Sunday, the Flash downed the Colonials 1-0 at the Stokes' SoccerPlex as
Mario Mastrangelo (Venetia, Pa/Peters Township) netted his team-high 10th goal of the season in the 88th minute. The Red Flash duo of
Marcus Rojas (Fremont, Calif./Bellarmine College Preparatory) and
Andrew Garcia (Sicklerville, N.J./Timber Creek Regional) combined for five saves in the shutout. Saint Francis out shot Robert Morris 23-7 on Sunday, in a match that decided seeding and bragging rights for the week.

ABOUT ROBERT MORRISThe Colonials come into the match at 10-7-1 overall and 4-2-1 in the NEC. The Flash will have to try and stop senior forward Neco Brett, who leads the NEC with 12 goals, a mark that is top-10 in the nation. The senior has a knack for timely goals; his 7 game-winners led the NEC and are second in the nation. Lucas Puntillo has five goals and six assists and is the other Colonial in double figures.

Defensively, Brenden Alfery has made every start in goal. He made 10 saves in the match last Sunday and has a 1.09 goals against average and a save percentage just over 83 percent.

ABOUT SAINT FRANCISThe Red Flash have come into the match winners of four straight, out scoring the opposition 10-1 in the process.
Marcus Rojas (Fremont, Calif./Bellarmine College Preparatory) has come on strong in net down the stretch, the junior has gotten the win in all four of the matches and owns a strong .36 goals against average and a .909 save percentage.

Offensively,
Mario Mastrangelo (Venetia, Pa/Peters Township) has 10 goals to lead the team and has the most goals in a season since Bernie Showers in 2004.
Pablo Medina (Monterrey, Mexico/IMG Academies) leads the team and the NEC with seven assists. Also watch for
Francis de Vries (Christchurch, New Zealand/Cashmere), the defender has five goals on the season, mostly off set pieces and will be tasked in part to shut down Brett.

WHAT'S AT STAKEThe winner of the match will advance to the NEC title game on Sunday against the winner of one-seed LIU Brooklyn and four-seed Saint Francis Brooklyn. LIU downed SFBK last Sunday 1-0, SFU is 0-1 against both schools this season. The Red Flash are in search of their first ever NEC title, falling three times in the title game in program history including last year to Saint Francis Brooklyn.
