LORETTO, Pa. – The Saint Francis swimming team was selected for the Team Scholar All-America Award, given by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), announced by the organization on Wednesday. SFU has earned the award for 10 consecutive years, also winning it following the Fall semester.

The Red Flash finished the Spring 2016 semester with a 3.26 GPA. To qualify as a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, a program must have a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Eighteen members of the team were named to the Saint Francis Athletics Department Spring Honor Roll, including freshmen
Amanda Crnic (Conway, Ark./Conway) and
Ashley Rovder (Johnstown, Pa./Richland), who both earned perfect 4.0 GPA's.

Saint Francis, led by Head Coach
Rory Coleman, is one of 172 Division I women's teams selected for the award. SFU is one of six NEC programs on among the honorees.
