Allison LaDuke (Greensburg, Pa./Greater Latrobe) garnered NEC weekly awards after helping the Saint Francis women's soccer team to a 2-0 record last weekend and a share of the NEC regular-season title.
McGhee earns her second NEC Player of the Week Award, racking up three goals and two assists in wins over Mount St. Mary's and LIU Brooklyn. The forward assisted on the opening goals of each game and added one goal vs. the Mountaineers and two vs. the Blackbirds. She leads the conference in goals with 10, assists with nine, and points with 29.Â
LaDuke was the focal point of a Saint Francis defense that conceded just one goal over 180 minutes and shutout LIU Brooklyn for its seventh clean sheet of the season. Saint Francis outscored its opponents 8-1 for the week. It is her first Defensive Player of the Week of her season.Â
The Red Flash earned the No. 2 seed at the NEC Tournament and will play CCSU on Friday, Nov. 3, at 2 p.m.Â
