WEST WINDSOR, N.J. – The Saint Francis Men's Tennis team earned a 4-0 win over St. Francis Brooklyn on Friday to advance to Saturday's NEC Semifinals.  The Red Flash won the doubles point and three singles matches, while winning at least one set in the matches that were not finished. Saint Francis, the No. 2 seed in the tournament, improved to 14-4 overall, while St. Francis Brooklyn, the No. 7 seed, finished its season with a 5-12 record.

The Red Flash, led by Head Coach Rob Castille, will meet the No. 3 seed Wagner in Saturday's Semifinals, which are scheduled to begin at approximately 11:30 a.m. at the Mercer County Tennis Center in West Windsor, N.J.  Wagner is 14-7 after picking up a 4-0 win over the No. 6 seed Sacred Heart on Friday.  Saint Francis and Wagner did not meet in the regular season.

"This was a good match for us to kick things off," said Castille. "St. Francis Brooklyn is very much improved from where they've been the past several years. They competed and played well today. I felt like we were a little casual in some of the matches, so we'll need to fix that as we are playing a talented Wagner team tomorrow. We'll rest up and be ready for a battle tomorrow in the semis."
