Concheck's Reaction
"Bryant is a great team," said head coach
Kara Concheck. "They are extremely athletic and make it difficult on their opponents. We outscored them in the second half and showed that we can play with the best when we play our game, but it wasn't enough today. We need to come out hot on Sunday."
Turning Point
Ryan got Saint Francis on the board with a tally at the 24:01 mark of the first half but that was the only offense Saint Francis could muster over the first 30 minutes as the Bulldogs ended the half on a 10-0 run to lead 13-1 at the intermission. Saint Francis outscored Bryant 5-3 in the second half.

- Sophomore midfielder Alex Anton (Galloway, Ohio/Hilliard Bradley) and Ryan both chipped in with two draw controls.
- Sophomore goalie Ashley Stoessel (Smithtown, N.Y./Smithtown East) made her first start of the season in goal for Saint Francis, stopping eight first half shots. She was replaced by senior Heather McKee (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright Bel Air) who allowed just three goals.
