Hernan to the Rescue
Sophomore goalkeeper
Julia Hernan (Collegeville, Pa./The Hill School) kept busy in matches at No. 15 Georgetown and George Washington last week, totaling 22 saves in the two games. She helped SFU take George Washington to the brink, tying a career-high with 13 saves.
Lightning Strikes
Alyssa McGhee (Altoona, Pa./Bishop Guilfoyle)'s goal 64 seconds into Sunday's match at George Washington was the fastest Saint Francis tally since October 26, 2012, when Brittany Hasson scored 33 seconds into a 3-0 win vs. Wagner.
Difficult Schedule
Saint Francis has had to navigate a difficult non-conference schedule. Including this week's opponents, SFU's opponents have recorded a combined 32-27-4 record (.540%). Making things even more difficult is the fact that seven of the first eight games have been played on the road. The six teams SFU has faced on the road this season are a combined 12-5-2 (.684%) on their home fields.
