Turning Point
Â
In the 59th minute, Rider's Shannon Hughes tapped the ball to Alice Otterson who slammed home a sizzling shot to put the score at 2-0. The goal forestalled the chance of a late Red Flash comeback.

Highlights
- Rider galloped right out of the starting gate with a goal in the first minute as the Broncs bolted down the field to score on a Jessica Randazzo shot off of an Elizabeth Dyer (Berwick, Pa./Berwick) block.
- At the 7th minute of play, a Rider player shot from outside the black circle went in the goal but was declared forfeit as the ball was not touched by a Rider player inside the black circle as per the rules.
- Saint Francis had a flurry of penalty corner opportunities in the 15th and 16th minutes but all shot attempts were blocked.
- The remainder of the half saw few legitimate scoring chances as both defenses heated up.
- Brea Seabrook (Wilkes Barre, Pa./GAR Memorial), in the 46th minute, had a shot go wide left.
- Both team earned more penalty corners which neither team were able to convert into goals.
- In the 59th minute, the turning point of the game occurred as Rider scored the insurance goal.

Notes

- The Red Flash outshot the Broncs 18-14.
- Both goalkeepers went the full 70 minutes. Elizabeth Dyer (Berwick, Pa./Berwick) recorded eight saves. That ties her season high against Siena.
- Grace Gibson (Otane, New Zealand/Napier Girls'), once again, went the full 70 minutes. The surprising warm temperatures of the last two contests make the feat even more impressive.
- The penalty stroke was Kali Thies (Newton, N.J./Hackettstown)' first career goal. Congratulations to the Red Flash senior!
