Loretto, Pa. – Three talented student-athletes signed NLI's to play for the Saint Francis women's soccer team and head coach
Brenda van Stralen. As has been the case over recent years, the Red Flash recruited in-state talent hard as all three signees come from the state of Pennsylvania.
"I am excited about this class," said van Stralen. "We brought in a smaller class and were able to find three individuals who fit what we are trying to do on and off the field. They will come in and compete for spots and make everyone on our team better."
5'4" F/M Allison Asmann (Huntingdon Valley, Pa. / Lower Moreland)
Asmann is a versatile attacking player who was a four-time all-league recipient at Lower Moreland High School, earning Second Team All-Bicentennial Accolades twice and First Team All-Bicentennial Honors in her last two seasons. A two-time captain, she led the Lady Lions to a 29-4-1 record over her four seasons while compiling 67 goals and 63 assists. Asmann's club team, HVAA Freedom, is the fourth-ranked team in Pennsylvania. She netted 15 goals and added 20 assists for her club during the 2017-18 season.

5'7" M/D Jaela House (South Williamsport, South Williamsport H.S.)
A team captain and four-year letterwinner, House led South Williamsport to a 17-3 record this Fall, scoring 10 goals and distributing 12 assists. For her career, she netted 26 goals to go with 35 assists, earning Second Team All-Conference honors in 2017 and 2018. Her club team, STN North Penn, were Regional Champions. She is a member of the Honors Society.

"Jaela is a very mature player with physical gifts that will allow her to contribute early. She can play in the midfield or at center back, reads the game very well, and is composed both on the ball and as a defender."
5'5" F/M Grace Weidenhamer (Galena, Ohio / Olentangy Orange H.S.)
Weidenhamer is a four-year letterwinner at Olentangy Orange, helping the Pioneers capture the 2017 OCC Conference Championship and leading them to the District Finals in 2017 and 2018. Weidenhamer was an Honorable Mention All-OCC Conference performer as a junior and a Second Team All-OCC performer as a senior, finishing her career with six goals and six assists. A three-time scholar-athlete and member of the National Honors Society, Weidenhamer plays club soccer for the 2017 and 2018 President's Cup State Champions, Freedom SC.

The Red Flash has appeared in seven NEC Finals since 2010, winning four titles.
