Mark Flagg (Fairless Hills, Pa./Pennsbury)'s best week of his young career netted him his first NEC Rookie of the Week on Monday. The 6'9" forward averaged 12.0 ppg and 8.5 rpg in his two starts, recording his first career double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds in a nationally-televised win over Fairleigh Dickinson.
Flagg shot 7-for-10 from the field in the win over the Knights, adding a career-high three blocks to go along with his double-double. He followed it up with another active performance at Mount St. Mary's on Saturday with seven points and seven rebounds.
Since his insertion into the starting lineup vs. Sacred Heart on Jan. 28, Flagg is averaging 10.0 ppg and 7.3 rpg while shooting 13-of-21 (.619) from the field. He leads the Red Flash with 14 blocked shots.
