OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The Saint Francis Softball Team is set to compete in the OSU Hall of Fame Classic this weekend in Oklahoma City. The tournament will be played at the USA Softball Complex.Â

OSU HALL OF FAME CLASSIC SCHEDULE
SERIES HISTORY
This will be SFU's first ever meetings against Pacific, Purdue, Drake and UConn. SFU fell 9-3 against Oklahoma State last Sunday. The Red Flash is 2-5 against current Big 12 teams, with both wins coming in 2017 at Texas Tech, 12-10 in eight innings and 3-1.

APPROACHING 200 WINS
With 198 wins, Head Coach
Jennifer Patrick-Swift is approaching her 200th win at Saint Francis. Since taking over the program in 2012, Patrick-Swift is 198-143, winning nearly 60 percent of the games she has coached at SFU. Patrick-Swift has already more than doubled the previous wins record at SFU, set by Rudy "Skip" Galayda, who had 93 wins from 1994-98.Â
In Patrick-Swift's tenure, Saint Francis has increased its wins total each of the last six seasons, including last year's program and NEC-record 49 wins. Last year, Patrick-Swift led the Red Flash to its first ever NEC Title, first ever NCAA Tournament appearance and first NCAA Tournament win.

FRANK SPARKS LINEUP
Freshman
Jordan Frank (DuBois, Pa./DuBois Central Catholic) did not register her first college at-bat until this past weekend against Maine. However, Frank has quickly established herself as a spark at the top of the lineup. In her first career at-bat, Frank homered to center. She followed that with her first career start and another homer vs. Omaha. Frank drew two walks and scored a run against No. 24 Oklahoma State before hitting a leadoff double, off the top of the wall, in the fourth inning against No. 5 Oklahoma on Wednesday. Frank has three hits in her first eight career at-bats, with a double and two homers and a slugging percentage of 1.250.

STRONG IN THE CIRCLE
The Red Flash is off to a solid start in the circle this year, with a 2.82 team ERA and a .221 batting average against.Â
Adrian Smith (Clairsville, Ohio/St. Clairsville) owns a team-best 2.76 ERA and a 3-3 record, including four complete games and two shutouts. She has four outings in which she has gone at least five innings and allowed one or less run.
Trahan is 8-7 with a 2.85 ERA in 17 appearances, with 10 complete games and two shutouts. She ranks 13th in the nation, and first in the NEC, with 89 strikeouts, and 26th in the nation with eight wins. Trahan has five outings in which she has gone at least seven innings and allowed one or less run. Trahan recorded a career-high 14 strikeouts in game one against Omaha and took a No-Hitter into the seventh in the second game against the Mavericks.

COLLECTING DINGERS
After hitting 146 homers in the last two seasons, Saint Francis is once again on track to be among the top power teams in the nation. With nine homers this past weekend, SFU is up to 23 on the season. Saint Francis ranks 21st in the nation in home runs per game, with 1.15, and 13th in total homers.Â
Senior
Madison Cabell (Ivor, Va./Southampton) ranks 13th in the nation with seven homers, which is more than 121 DI teams, including eight NEC teams.Â
Mikayla Bower (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport) and
Kassidy Troxell (Navarre, Ohio/Perry) have four each and
Hayley Norton (Spring Grove, Pa./Spring Grove) has three homers. Jordy Frank homered twice this past weekend as one of eight SFU players with at least one homer this season.

CHALLENGING NON-CON SLATE
SFU continues a challenging non-conference schedule this week. The slate features games against No. 5 Oklahoma, No. 13 Auburn and No. 23 Oklahoma State. SFU will also play Arkansas, who is receiving votes in the USA Today/NFCA Coaches Poll. As part of its non-conference schedule, SFU will play 16 games against Power 5 programs and 12 against teams who played in the 2017 NCAA Tournament.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
Pacific, led by Brian Kolze, is 8-10 this season. The Tigers are batting .283 as a team and averaging 7.3 runs per game. Senior Sydney Lahners is batting .400 with six homers and 19 RBI. Pacific also has a team ERA of 3.98 and allows an opposing batting average of .292.

Purdue, coached by Boo De Oliveira, is 2-16 this year. The Boilermakers have a team average of .236 and average 2.6 runs per game. Purdue also has a team ERA of 5.45 and an opposing average of .296. Kaitlynn Moody has a 3.97 ERA in a team-high 14 appearances, with 45 strikeouts in 60 innings.

Drake, led by Rich Calvert, is 12-7 overall. The Bulldogs are batting .287 as a team with 4.6 runs per game. Sarah Maddox is batting .315 and is tied for the team-lead with 12 RBI. The Bulldogs have a team ERA of 1.33 with an opposing average of .203. In seven appearances, Nicole Newman leads the team with a 1.00 ERA and a 6-1 record. She has 55 strikeouts in 35 innings.

Oklahoma State, coached by Kenny Gajewski, is 14-6 this year. Ok State has a team average of .351 and averages 7.3 runs per game. Vanessa Shippy is batting .540 with three homers and 16 RBI. The Cowgirls have a team ERA of 2.84 and allow a .257 opposing average.

UConn, led by Head Coach Jen McIntyre, is 7-12 this season. UConn is batting .221 as a team and averaging 2.5 runs per game. Olivia Sappington is batting .281 with three homers and seven RBI. The Huskies have a 2.77 team ERA with an opposing average of .245. In a team-high 11 appearances, Marybeth Olson is 3-4 with a 2.35 ERA. She has 44 strikeouts in 38.2 innings.
