LORETTO, Pa. –

Saint Francis was named a CSCAA Scholar All-America Award winner for the 23rd semester, in twelve years, and topped the nation's GPAs are the first time in program history.  The 3.81 team GPA is the highest on record for the swim team in any semester, bettering the previous highest GPA by .17.  SFU had the highest GPA in the NEC by .18 this semester.

"It is a great honor for our team to have earned the highest GPA in Division I women's swimming," said Head Coach Rory Coleman. "We have developed a culture here at Saint Francis that allows our student-athletes to succeed in the classroom as well as in the pool. Our athletes are products of great parenting and have been instilled with strong values and work ethics. This award is the culmination of our athletes' desire to succeed in the classroom and the support they receive from the Saint Francis faculty members and our Student-Athlete Development Staff led by our team academic advisor, Jaime Lipski."

In the pool, the Red Flash finished third at the NEC Championships and went 10-7 in dual meets this season.  The third-place finish was SFU's highest in the conference since 2013.
