Loretto, Pa. - The 10th annual SAAC NEC Money Wars Competition will run through Feb. 3. The Saint Francis Student-Athlete Advisory Committee raised $5,820.14 last year, the highest total by a school since the Money Wars was put into action in 2010.

The annual NEC Money Wars Fundraiser is organized by Student-Athlete Advisory Committees across all 10 NEC campuses.One hundred percent of the raised funds go to the Children's Cancer Recovery Foundation, sn organization which assists children under 18 and their families who are facing the hardships of a cancer diagnosis.

In its nine-year history, NEC Money Wars has raised $88,228.84 in total to help support the Children's Cancer Recovery Foundation. Saint Francis has won the competition in three of the nine years. You can donate to the cause via the online donation portal here.
