Loretto, Pa.- The Saint Francis swimming team ventures to Pittsburgh for the Western Pennsylvania Invitational. It is the last meet for the Red Flash before the NEC Championships. 

In last year's invitational, the Red Flash defeated California University of Pennsylvania and Clarion but lost to Pitt, Carnegie Mellon and Duquesne. Mackenzie Lawson (Charlottesville, Va./The Covenant School), Sabrina Bowman (Vandergrift, Pa./Saint Joseph's) and Karilyn Quon (Tempe, Ariz./Corona del Sol) all obtained top-10 SFU times. 

At last week's YSU Tri-Meet, Saint Francis fell to Youngstown State, 162-89 and Illinois, 200-56. Annabelle McCullough (Mercersburg, PA./James Buchanan High School) earned NEC Swimming Co-Rookie of the Week honors for her performances in the 200 Butterfly and the 200 Freestyle. Her times were enough to rank among the top-10 in the NEC for January. 

The Red Flash start the competition at 1 pm on January 26th.
