Scouting Siena
The Saints enter Saturday's contest with a 1-3 conference record in the MAAC and 3-7 overall. Siena is familiar with Saint Francis this season as both teams participated at the CCSU Invite in the beginning of December. Siena finished fourth out of the five teams while SFU finished second at the CCSU invitational. Siena is led by Reilly King in the freestyle category as she holds the current top times this season at Siena in the 500, 1000, and 1650-yard freestyles. Also, Siena is guided in the backstroke department by senior Isabel Harms who holds season highs for the Saints in the 50, 100, and 200-yard backstrokes.

Last Time Out
Saint Francis hasn't competed in the pool since December 5
th at the CCSU Invite with two of their meets in January being cancelled. The Red Flash secured second place in the CCSU Invite with great individual performances from
Krysta Weik,
Amelia Laudenbach,
Inde Patterson, and
Aurem Pifarre-Planes who all had first place finishes. Patterson started out the invitational with a time of 26.44 to win the 50-yard backstroke.
Weik claimed first in the 200-yard IM with a speedy time of 2:08.62, and first in the 100-yard breaststroke with a recorded time of 1:04.75. Laudenbach captured first place in the 100-yard backstroke finishing in 57.68, while also winning the 200-yard backstroke event with a time of 2:02.36. Pifarre-Planes was able to win the 1,650 yard freestyle for the Red Flash with a time of 17:39.57.

All-Time vs. Siena
The Red Flash hold a 15-1 advantage over the Saints since the matchup's inaugural meet on Jan. 26, 2008. Saint Francis currently has a thirteen-meet winning streak, five at home, five on the road, and three at neutral sites. The last Siena win came on January 23, 2010 where the Saints just barely beat the Red Flash 148-143. The last matchup took place on February 1, 2020 where
Shauna Abair secured first in the 1650-yard freestyle.
Amelia Laudenbach and
Jessica Rupp secured second and third place respectively in the 100-yard backstroke as the Red Flash won the meet 147-75.

Saint Francis hits the road for the first time in January with a visit to the University of Pittsburgh. The Red Flash begin a weekend slate starting on Friday, Jan. 28 and finishing on Saturday, Jan. 29
