LORETTO, Pa. – Saint Francis University womens soccer's
Tomke Dziesiaty was named Northeast Conference Player of the Week and
Raine Korpics was named NEC Rookie of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
Sarah McConnon and
Lauren Pyle earned an NEC Prime Performer selection alongside Dziesiaty.

Dziesiaty, a sophomore, scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win against St. Francis Brooklyn on Thursday then she scored one goal again in Sunday's win against LIU. She is the team leader in goals with six and that mark is good for third in the conference, she also ranks third in the NEC with three game-winning goals on the year.Â

Korpics, a freshman, notched her third goal of the year when she sent one in the back of the net against LIU this past Sunday. She is second on the Red Flash with those three goals, and shes also played the most minutes out of any freshman on the team.Â

Pyle, a sophomore, continues to dish out assists in big time situations as she notched the game-winning assist in the win against St. Francis Brooklyn. Pyle then came back three days later and made a perfect pass to
Corinne Renninger to get the first goal of the game against LIU. Her seven assists on the season is good for first in the conference with the next closest player having four.

McConnon, a junior, notched her fifth shutout of the season when she blanked St. Francis Brooklyn on Thursday afternoon. She has recorded 64 saves on the season and has a 1.64 Goals Against Average with one regular season match left in the 2022 season. Her five shutouts are the third best in the Northeast Conference and she's also fifth in the conference with those 64 saves.
Dziesiaty's Player of the Week selection was her second of the season, while Korpic's Rookie of the Week nod is also the second of her 2022 season. McConnon, who was once named Defensive Player of the Week this season collects her second prime performer award this year. Pyle has earned her first prime performer nod this season after notching two assists in a span of three days.
