Three Red Flash swimmers take home first place finishes as Saint Francis ended up falling short in their first meet of the 2022-23 season against St. Bonaventure.
Aurem Pifarre secured first place in the 1000 yard freestyle swim as she collected nine points for Saint Francis in that race. Pifarre also took first place in the 500 yard freestyle as she finished the day with two wins in her races.
Sara Turner won her first race as a collegiate swimmer in the 100 yard butterfly by just under one second. Senior
Krysta Weik secured victory in the 100 yard breastroke with the freshman Turner coming right behind her in a close second place.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Pifarre finished the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 10:49.71; Pifarre claimed first in the 500 yard free with a time of 5:13.20 also.
Weik won the 100 yard breastroke with a time of 1:07.45 as she looks to have a strong senior campaign.
