HOW IT HAPPENED
Pifarre, just three seconds shy of first, began the meet in the 1650-yard freestyle earning second with a time of 18:07.86. The junior also placed third in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:57.63 on Friday night.
Kurtzweil made her individual Saint Francis debut in the 100-yard backstroke, earning third place with a time of 59.40 and clocking in just a second behind the top finisher.
Weik competed in the 100-yard breaststroke, taking third at 1:07.76, with just one second keeping her from the top spot.
Turner wrapped up the Red Flash's top three finishes from the first day of the Colgate Invite, placing second in the 200-yard butterfly and clocking in at 2:09.35..
Turner also kicked off the top finishes for Saint Francis for Saturday's events. She placed third in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:29.74, just .12 shy of second.
Pifarre was back to a second-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:12.29.
Bernasconi rounded out the top three finishes for Saint Francis, placing third in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:00.41.
