After her second career five-goal performance, Saint Francis freshman
Bella Fisher (Duxbury, Mass./Duxbury), a member of the Red Flash women's lacrosse team, has been named the Northeast Conference (NEC) Co-Rookie of the Week for the week of March 20-26. Fisher first earned the conference weekly honor after scoring five times against Kent State on March 10.

Fisher had five goals in the game, scoring off an assist from
Kelly Dickson at 7:58 left in the first quarter, off a feed from
Chyler Espino (San Francisco, Calif./at 11:46 in the second quarter and off passes from
Autumn McHenry at 7:54 in the third quarter and with 25 seconds left in the game sandwiched in between an unassisted score at 6:56 in the fourth. Fisher registered her second career five-goal performance after also finding the twine a handful of times at Kent State, while the six points are a new career best in the category.

The freshman has registered four multi-goal performances this season and three matches with four or more twine twinklers. She ranks second on the team in goals (18) and third in points (19). The 18 markers are already the eighth most for a freshman in program history.

It marks 14th time in program history a player has been named the top rookie of the week, while Fisher becomes the fourth player to earn the distinction at least twice. Fisher was also selected as the NEC Rookie of the Week for the week of March 6-12. Danielle Conwell in 2010 and teammates

Christina Roncarati (East Longmeadow, Mass./Pope Francis) in 2022 are the other multi-weekly winners for Saint Francis. Roncarati established a program record with three NEC Rookie of the Week honors.
