Niagara is 3-0 this season, defeating St. Bonaventure, Cleveland State and Youngstown State.
The 2024 MAAC Champions beat the Penguins 186-72 last Saturday.
Martina Divis, Natalie Killion and Alaina Pitton each won multiple individual events over Youngstown State.
LAST TIME WE MET THE PURPLE EAGLES
In a tri-meet against Youngstown State and Niagara last fall, the Red Flash narrowly defeated the Purple Eagles 135-127, improving its record against Niagara to 8-6.
Saint Francis took home wins in five events in the tri-meet.
In the 200-yard medley relay,
Bridget Kurtzweil,
Oksana Horova,
Sara Turner and
Anna Bernasconi brought home with a time of 1:49.29.
Turner won the 200-yard and 100-yard butterfly with respective times of 2:09.76 and 59.75.
Bernasconi finished first in the 50-yard freestyle, clocking in at 24.48.
In the 400-yard freestyle relay, Bernasconi,
Natalie Glessner, Nicole López Kohlmann and Horova won with a time of 3:36.04.
Bernasconi and Turner earned NEC Prime Performer for their performances in the meet.
LAST TIME OUT
Saint Francis beat Millersville at home 182-80 on October 19, celebrating the team's seniors.
The Red Flash won 10 of the 14 events, placing at least second in the remaining four events.
Bridget Kurtzweil, Taylor Weth, Anna Bernasconi and Oksana Horova began the meet with a win in the 200-yard medley relay at 1:47.90.
Sara Blanco won the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:59.82.
Taylor Weth won the 100-yard breaststroke, finishing with a time of 1:08.09. She also won the 200-yard breaststroke at 2:30.46.
Alyssa Giovinazzo won the 200-yard butterfly at 2:15.55.
Bernasconi won an individual event as well, taking first in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.80.
In the 100-yard freestyle, Horova won, clocking in at 53.37.
Maddie Dando earned first in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:14.08.
Aurem Pifarre took the top spot in the 500-yard freestyle, clocking in at 5:13.36.
Inde Patterson finished the 100-yard butterfly in 1:00.13, good for first place.
In the final event of the day, Horova, Reegan Brown, Kathryn Tanis and Bernasconi won the 200-yard freestyle relay at 1:38.93.
Weth was named a Prime Performer for her efforts in the meet.
