LORETTO, Pa. – Saint Francis women's soccer's Riley Cerqua was named a Northeast Conference breakout candidate for the 2024 season.
Top Drawer said of Cerqua "Cerqua improved rapidly through her freshman season, and it paid off by earning her first collegiate start in the last game of the fall. The defender has since continued that rapid momentum into the spring and summer, which is perfect for a breakout."
Cerqua appeared in 12 games as a freshman in 2023 and started one. In those 12 appearances, she registered three shots.
The Pittsburgh, Pa., native will kick off her 2024 campaign with Saint Francis against Niagara on Aug. 15 at 5:00 P.M.
