WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
>> Saint Francis women's track & field finished fifth out of 11 teams while the men placed eighth at Saturday's Gulden Invitational hosted by Bucknell University.

Gabriella del Pielago (4:05.22) all finished in second place in their respective events.

FLASH WOMEN NUGGETS
Along with the four women's top performers, the women's team compiled 13 top-10 finishes and seven top-5 performances.
Quackenbush's time in the 3000-meter run puts her into the Saint Francis Women's Indoor Track & Field record books at fourth. It was also a new personal-best time in the event for the sophomore.
Nina Connors showed out in her first collegiate meet, placing fourth in the women's 1000-meter run with a time of 3:05.82. The freshman also took fifth as a part of the women's 4x800 relay team featuring herself,
Mariclare Anderson,
Rosemary Gaydos and
Jordan Dean with a time of 10:21.76.
There were two top-10 finishes in the women's triple jump. They came from
Brooke Long (4th: 11.21m) and
Gianna Anderson (8th: 10.74m). Long also finished seventh in the long jump with a mark of 5.20m.
Two athletes placed top-10 in the women's 800-meter dash. It was Anderson (6th: 2:23.95) and Fleck (2:24.49).
Morgan McNaughton took seventh in the women's mile with a personal-best time of 5:14.23.
Rounding out the top performers was
Carly Sedun, who took eighth in the women's weight throw with a mark of 15.66m.
FLASH MEN NUGGETS
The men's team racked up eight top-10 finishes and one top-5 performance.
Aaron Tressler had the best finish by the men, coming in third in the men's 5000-meter run with a personal-best time of 15:18.87.
There were two top-10 performers in the men's weight throw. They were
Joseph Sevison (6th: 16.64m) and
Trey Baney (10th: 15.57m).
Clark Gulycz also placed sixth in the men's weight throw with a mark of 15.87m.
Julian Saunders finished sixth in the men's 60-meter dash with a time of 6.95.
Rounding out the top finishes were three athletes that finished 10th in their respective events:
John Flynn Jr. (one mile: 4:25.67),
James Parmelee (1000-meter dash: 2:45.15), and
Ian Conway (triple jump: 12.97m). Flynn Jr.'s time in the mile is a new personal-best.
