Bernasconi and Pifarre Named NEC Prime Performers

LORETTO, Pa. – Women's swimming has earned two Prime Performers, the Northeast Conference announced Wednesday.

Anna Bernasconi and Aurem Pifarre are Prime Performers after defeating Lock Haven 212-39 last weekend.

Bernasconi tallied three wins in the meet.

Individually, she won the 200-yard individual medley and the 100-yard breaststroke with times of 2:13.22 and 1:09.13. She was also part of the winning 200-yard medley relay, clocking in at 1:51.16.

Pifarre recorded two individual wins against the Bald Eagles.

She won the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:42.94 and earned first in the 200-yard butterfly at 2:15.89.

She was also part of a second-place 200-yard freestyle relay that finished with a time of 1:45.98.

Saint Francis will conclude the regular season with the Western PA Invitational on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 in Pittsburgh.
