FLASH WOMEN NUGGETS
The women accumulated two event victories and 17 top-8 finishes.
Anna Quackenbush finished first in the women's 5000-meter run with a time of 17:46.48. Her time puts her sixth in the all-time Saint Francis women's indoor track & field performance lists in the event.
The two distance medley relay teams had themselves a great Friday team. The team of
Mariclare Anderson,
Naomi Hillen,
Olivia Renk and
Nina Connors took first with a time of 12:31.00. The second squad of
Emma Fleck,
Lauren Lomago,
Rosemary Gaydos and
Mackenzie Hirt placed second with a time of 12:49.42.
Renk also finished second in the women's 200-meter dash (25.36). In the 60-meter dash, the freshman took eighth in the preliminaries with a time of 7.73. She proceeded to finish sixth in the finals, clocking in a time of 7.74.
Anderson (2:20.38), Fleck (2:21.12), and Colman (2:23.79) finished third, fourth, and sixth in the women's 800-meter dash.
In the women's weight throw,
Carly Sedun (15.98m) and
Rylee Nicklas (14.52m) placed third and seventh in the event, respectively.
Tesslyn Helms continued the third place finishes in the women's 3000-meter run with a time of 10:17.18.
Morgan McNaughton followed three spots behind Quackenbush in the 5000-meter run, coming in fourth with a time of 18:37.11.
Alexandra Dever took seventh in the women's high jump with a mark of 1.52m. It moves the freshman to ninth all-time in the Saint Francis history books for the event.
In the women's pole vault,
Claire Henry (3.11m) and
Aubrie Wells (2.96) finished sixth and seventh respectively. Wells tied with two other athletes for the seventh spot.
Gianna Anderson placed seventh in the women's triple jump with a mark of 10.79m.
Rounding out the top performers was Connors's eighth place finish in the mile with a time of 5:23.09.
FLASH MEN NUGGETS
The men's team racked up one event victory and 15 top-8 finishes.
Tyler Craft took home his first collegiate event victory in the men's triple jump with a mark of 14.06m.
Ian Conway placed fifth in the same event with a jump of 13.26m.
Julian Saunders placed second in the men's 60-meter dash preliminaries with a time of 6.88 to qualify for the finals. The senior clocked in a time of 6.85 in the final to finish second. He also took fourth in the men's 200-meter dash with a time of 22.02.
Jayden Foster finished four spots behind Saunders in the 200-meter dash in eighth with a time of 22.51. Foster also took fifth in the men's long jump with a mark of 6.78m.
Jasiyah Banks followed behind in eighth with a jump of 6.45m.
The men's distance medley relay team of
Seamus Girdusky,
James Parmelee,
Michelangelo Piccirillo, and Carlos Cheruiyot placed second with a time of 10:23.13. The 4x400 relay squad of Saunders, Girdusky, Foster, and
Tyler Persing clocked in a second place finish as well with a time of 3:27.29.
In the men's weight throw,
Joseph Sevison (16.25m) took second while
Trey Baney (15.58m) and
Vincent Franco (15.58m) each tied for fifth.
In the men's 800-meter dash,
John Flynn Jr. placed third with a time of 1:57.46.
Aaron Tressler led the distance runners by finishing third in the men's 3000-meter run with a time of 8:51.37.
Dylan Andrews took third in the men's pole vault with a clearance of 4.31m.
The men's 60-meter hurdles saw
Haiden Litwinovich take third with a time of 8.55.
