ANNAPOLIS, Md. (Sept. 26, 2009) – Caitlin Bart (Warren, Ohio/Howland) (Warren, Ohio/Howard) and Devyn Sarver (Mt. Clemens, Mich./Fraser) each earned a singles victories as the Saint Francis women's tennis team completed day two of action at the Bill and Sandra Moore Invitational at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.
Bart defeated Rider's Allison Clay 6-4, 6-1. Sarver took a 6-1, 5-7, 12-10 victory from Natalie Houle of Navy.
Juliana Gustafson (Keyser, W.Va./Keyser) (Keyser, W. Va./Keyser) beat Rider's Katie Garrity 6-0, 6-0.
Abigail Ball (Ebensburg, Pa./Central Cambria) (Ebensburg, Pa./Central Cambria) fell 6-2, 6-0 to Navy's Brittany Boucher, while Laura Husband (Dawson, Pa./Connellsville Area) (Dawson, Pa./Connellsville Area) fell to Ashley Peretz of Towson 6-3, 5-7, 10-3.
