BOX SCORE Clinton, S.C. - Freshman
Sydney Davis (Harwood, Md./Southern) scored five goals and added three assists and the Saint Francis lacrosse team (2-1) held Presbyterian (0-3) scoreless over the second half to record a 16-3 win on Sunday afternoon.
Concheck's Reaction
"Our hustle stats have been remarkable over the past three games as we have dominated the draw and 50/50 balls, which has allowed us to control the tempo," said head coach
Kara Concheck. "I am proud of our defensive unit for shutting out PC in the second half. Our offense had good flow and ball movement as 10 of our 16 goals were assisted.
Sydney Davis (Harwood, Md./Southern) was at the forefront of our attack and had a tremendous game."
Turning Point
Davis took over the game early, scoring four goals in a span of 11:23 to push a 2-1 Saint Francis lead to 6-2. The Red Flash scored three more times before the end of the period to take a 9-3 lead into halftime.
