Bowling Green, Ohio.- The Saint Francis swimming team won five out of nine relay events over the Bowling Green Falcons on Friday night.
In the 200 Medley Relay, the team of
Urska Medvesek (Maribor, Slovenia/Gymnasium Maribor),
Erin O'Neill (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn),
Annabelle McCullough (Mercersburg, PA./James Buchanan High School) and
Chloe Clemens (Chesterfield, Va. /Cosby High School) won first on a time of 1:51.11.
The trio of
Rebecca Pendleton (Maple Glen, PA/Upper Dublin High Schhol),
Annabelle McCullough (Mercersburg, PA./James Buchanan High School) and
Jessica Rupp (Cincinnati, Ohio/Turpin) touched the wall in 2.59.02 minutes to win the 3x100 Butterfly Relay.
Another Red Flash threesome also won gold as
Karilyn Quon (Tempe, Ariz./Corona del Sol),
Urska Medvesek (Maribor, Slovenia/Gymnasium Maribor) and
Amelia Laudenbach (Kambah, Australia/Trinity Christian School) claimed first place on a time of 3:02.09 in the Backstroke Relay.
In the 3x100 Breaststroke Relay, the trio of
Erin O'Neill (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn),
Emelia Cronshaw (Strafford, N.H./Coe-Brown Northwood Academy) and
Kristen Toth (Silver Spring, Md./St. Vincent Pallotti) finished first with a time of 3:33.43.
The final Saint Francis victory came in the 100 Medley Relay as the foursome of
Urska Medvesek (Maribor, Slovenia/Gymnasium Maribor),
Erin O'Neill (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn),
Julia Bradford (Edinboro, Pa./Villa Maria Academy ) and
Camille Nguyen (Mason, Ohio/Mason) finished in 52.98 seconds.
