"I was very pleased with how we came out and played in doubles," said Head Coach
Rob Castille. "We put ourselves in a great position to win both of the doubles, but we didn't take advantage of our opportunities. The girls learned that against a team as good as St. John's, if you give them a chance to get back in it, they'll take advantage."

Â
"In singles, I felt several matches could have gone eight way," said Castille. "I attribute that to the way we competed. St. John's is a very talented, deep team, and our girls fought hard and played some smart tennis tonight. I think we can take a lot of positives from this and apply them to our first conference match on Sunday."
