Beth Swink was the Northeast Conference Player of the Year for women’s basketball in 2003-04 and was a member of four NEC Championship teams from 2002-05 that also made four consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances. She is one of three players in SFU women’s basketball history to score at least 2,000 points, ranking third all-time with 2,127 behind Jess Zinobile (2,338) and Alli Williams (2,170).
 
Swink also ranks fourth in rebounding at SFU (957), fifth in blocks (87), sixth in steals (204), and is the all-time leader in field goals made with 831. She is a two-time NEC Scholar-Athlete and was a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-America selection. Swink was the NEC Rookie of the Year in 2001-02 and was a two-time NEC Tournament Most Valuable Player in 2003 and 2005.
 
She was named SFU’s Wallace Athletic Award winner in 2005, and she was a member of the Saint Francis women’s basketball 25th Anniversary Team. Swink was elected to the NEC Hall of Fame in 2011.
