Maureen Logan was the player opposing teams loved to hate during her dour season in Loretto. She graduated from Saint Francis as the school’s  all-time leader in assists (522) and steals (354) – both these marks still stand today. She holds the top three all-time single-season steals mark at the University and is the only player in school history to eclipse the century mark for take-aways in one year, recording 105 steals as a freshman in 1989-90.

Ms. Logan was equally adept at the offensive end f the court, be it setting up a teammate for a bucket or putting the ball through the goal herself. She is the only player in school history to amass more than 500 career assists and is Saint Francis’ lone member of the 1,000-500-300 Club (1,122 points, 522 assists, 354 steals). Her 1,122 points ranks 12th on the school’s all-time list.

Ms. Logan is the only Red Flash player to dish out 15 assists in a game and the only player in school history to record 10 steals in a contest. She was one of the trailblazers for the Saint Francis women’s basketball program setting the table for the unprecedented success the team has enjoyed over the last decade.

Saint Francis College is proud to honor Maureen Logan with induction into the Athletics Hall of Fame on this date, Saturday, December 6, 2003.
