Saint Francis University Athletics Hall of Fame
Michele Raymond is the first-ever inductee from the Saint Francis women’s golf program. She won Northeast Conference Championship individual medalist honors in 1999 and 2002. In 2001, Raymond placed second overall. In 2003, she placed third overall, giving her a top-three finish at the NEC Championship in each of her four years at Saint Francis.
Raymond helped the Red Flash to NEC women’s golf championships in 1999, 2002 and 2003. Saint Francis competed in the NCAA Regionals in each of those three seasons after winning Northeast Conference titles. The 2003 team set a team championship 18-hole record that still stands. Raymond was a four-time All-NEC selection, and she was honored with the Dr. Phillip Benham Scholar-Athlete Award in 2003. This award is presented annually to the male and female student-athletes who demonstrate academic and athletic excellence each year at SFU.
