Following an outstanding high school wrestling career in Phillipsburg, Pa., “Dick” Condo’s enrollment at Saint Francis raised the wrestling program’s profile state wide and ushered in the golden age of Saint Francis Wrestling.
A four-year starter and team captain, Dick brought a confident and exciting style of wrestling to Saint Francis from his very first practice as his leadership and work ethic cultivated a positive culture within head coach Tom Vaux’s program.
Despite a chronic shoulder injury, Dick maintained an aggressive and entertaining style of wrestling that enabled him to leave Loretto with an impressive 60-11 individual record with individual championship trophies from the prestigious First Colonies and West Penn Conference Tournaments.
