Lindsey Stefan graduated from Saint Francis in 2004 as perhaps the greatest jumper in the history of the university. She holds the indoor high jump record at 1.72m (5’8”), and she also holds the outdoor high jump record at 1.73m (5’8.25”).

Stefan also had a stranglehold on the Northeast Conference Championships in each of those events. She won both the NEC Indoor and Outdoor High Jump Championships in 2001, 2002 and 2003. She was also named a CoSIDA Academic All-America selection in 2004. Stefan also was the recipient of the Dr. Phillip Benham Scholar-Athlete Award in 2004.

Stefan was inducted into the Indiana Country Sports Hall of Fame in 2014. She scored 72 career points in Northeast Conference Championships during her four years at SFU. All were from the high jump. She scored 37 points in the indoor championships and 35 points in outdoor championships during her illustrious career.
