Joyce led the 1995-96 women's basketball team to the school's first-ever NEC Title and NCAA Tournament appearance. She was SFC's leading scorer in in 1993-94 and 1995-96 and currently ranks seventh on the school's all-time scoring list with 1,644 career points. Simmons ranks 14^th in career rebounds with 598, sixth in field goals made (627) and 10^th in 3PT field goals (127). Her 593 points scored during the 1993-94 season rank 11^th most in single-season history and her 15 made field goals vs. Marshall on Dec. 20, 1993 are one shy of the school record. Joyce was a three-time All-NEC selection, making the first team in 1993-94 and 1995-96 and the second team in 1994-95. She was an All-Rookie selection in 1992-93.
