Caputo starred for the Red Flash from 2003-06 and is the Saint Francis and NEC career leader in receptions with 245. A two-time First Team All-NEC selection, he ranks second in the NEC's all-time receiving ranks in receiving yards with 3,646, and set the NEC single-season record for receptions in 2005 with 92. Caputo also holds the single-game NEC receiving record with 294 yards vs. Sacred Heart on Oct. 29, 2005. He became SFU's first-ever football All-American when he was named Sports Network I-AA All-America Third Team at the end of the 2005 season. Caputo currently ranks first in school history in receptions (245), receiving yards (3,464) and receiving touchdowns (31), and second in total touchdowns (32).
